We are glad to commence publication of a Literary Digest in Konkani, DEEPAANKUR दीपांकूर by name. The first issue of ‘Deepankur’ was released on 17th June 2012, coinciding with the 2nd Annual Commemorative Lecture Day. It contains articles, poetry, stories, transcription of lectures, transliteration of writings etc. that will touch upon the Konkani soul. These could be mainly in Konkani, but other languages like Malayalam and English will not be a bar.
The first issue of the magazine (DEEPAANKUR 2012) is edited by the noted Konkani writer Sri.Saratchandra Shenoi. It is a special issue documenting the multifaceted personality that was P.G.Kamath.

Second issue ‘DEEPANKUR 2013‘ is being brought out as a special issue on Konkani poetry. It will be edited by the noted Konkani poet Sri.R.S.Bhaskar. We are pleased to invite writers and artists to send their entries for the magazine. A soft copy could be sent to our email id. If it is hard copy it should be sent to our postal address (See ‘Contact Us’ page).

For me, editing this inaugural volume of Deepankur, featuring P G KAMATH himself, was an honour, a duty, and pleasure all rolled into one!
