The portrait has since been placed at the Hall of Fame, an image gallery at the World Konkani Centre at Mangalore.

We have great pleasure to brief you on our Mission, Vision and Tasks on Hand as we are poised to take up several activities of mutual interest.

 Our Mission :

The literary and cultural activities pursued by the late Konkani poet and Scholar P. Gopalakrishna Kamath (1926-2009) had a great social commitment. These had created ripples in the society that he lived. While encouraging young talents to come forward shedding hesitation, and helping them to bloom, P G Kamath treaded the path setting examples. It is significant to preserve and nurture those eternal values in our changing society, friends and relatives of the departed soul have come together forming P G Kamath Foundation.

Our Vision :

In line with the noble vision for which P G Kamath stood, we aim to inculcate awareness of the potential of poetry, spirit of magnanimity and steadfastness among Konkani lovers and writers. We believe good values can be propagated through music, dance or any fine arts. We look forward to achieving the goals through multifaceted activities like organising memorial lectures, undertaking different multilingual projects, arranging publications including reprints, preserving the archival materials left behind by the great soul, thus perpetuating and paying homage to his fond memories.
